Designer Bio
Linda Pritcher received her fine arts training from Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a BFA in painting, and her fashion, accessory and shoe design training from Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design in New York City.
After a successful career in the New York Fashion Industry in VP Design, Merchandising, and Sales positions, she founded two product design businesses, and later designed and consulted for a range of manufacturers, developing creative product designs tailored to individual client brand identities.
As designer of the Linda Pritcher Collection, made in Italy, her shoes incorporated the luxurious leathers and textiles available in Italy with thoughtful comfort features, impeccable attention to detail, and chic classic styling. Linda’s shoes complimented the life of the busy modern woman in a perfect blend of style and comfort.
She also created the Grace and Lucy line of travel essentials to support women with fashion on their own terms, by creating everyday, everywhere handbags, accessories and footwear combined with a dash of panache.
Today she teaches design classes at Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education, consults for creative businesses, and mentors designers – one-on-one or through the workshops she conducts.
