Designer Bio

Linda Pritcher received her fine arts training from Rhode Island School of Design, graduating with a BFA in painting, and her fashion, accessory and shoe design training from Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design in New York City.

After a successful career in the New York Fashion Industry in VP Design, Merchandising, and Sales positions, she founded two product design businesses, and later designed and consulted for a range of manufacturers, developing creative product designs tailored to individual client brand identities.

As designer of the Linda Pritcher Collection, made in Italy, her shoes incorporated the luxurious leathers and textiles available in Italy with thoughtful comfort features, impeccable attention to detail, and chic classic styling. Linda’s shoes complimented the life of the busy modern woman in a perfect blend of style and comfort.

She also created the Grace and Lucy line of travel essentials to support women with fashion on their own terms, by creating everyday, everywhere handbags, accessories and footwear combined with a dash of panache.

Today she teaches design classes at Rhode Island School of Design Continuing Education, consults for creative businesses, and mentors designers – one-on-one or through the workshops she conducts.

“Linda has been incredible in many ways. She is warm and kind as well as knowledgeable, sharp and wise. I resonated with her writing on the website so I approached her for one-on-one coaching when I dreamt to start my business but did not have the courage to do so for many self-limiting beliefs.

I felt an immediate connection to her when we talked and I was so lucky to have her help in order to navigate a territory that I was unfamiliar with. When I first tried to kick start my business, she was always there to listen, guide me into the right direction and offer valuable advice. With expertise accumulated from years of experiences and generosity stemming from a beautiful soul, she is the best mentor one can ask for, not only for their business journey but their personal growth.

I’ve learned so much from her that I will cherish for life. I highly recommend her coaching to anyone who wants to explore their creative potential and establish themselves in entrepreneurial fields.”

“I first came to understand the power of Linda Pritcher’s teaching during an online course I took at Rhode Island School of Design. Her lectures and probing questions about the creative process left me wanting to gain more of Linda’s insights into my own projects and challenges.

Outside of the classroom, we worked together as she closely examined my current projects, goals, and methods. Her ability to analyze my roadblocks and offer thoughtful and practical solutions has been a godsend.

With her coaching, I have been able to prioritize and better manage my time – while identifying my most viable projects to expend finite energy and focus.”Elizabeth Anderson - Designer, Founder of Shop Considered, Ca, USA

“Thank you, Linda, for your great gifts of insight, your innate good sense and creative experience, and for being the curiosity enabler, founder of strength, and the go-to person for any entrepreneur seeking next steps. I could not have come so far, so quickly.”PATRICIA JONES - ENTREPRENEUR, ARTIST, DESIGNER, WRITER/STORY BUILDER, KS, USA
